Psalm 86:5-7
you, LORD, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, LORD; listen to my cry for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.
Bucket Tears
My tears fall always into the bucket.
The Ocean waves, “hello!”
I wave back, I slip into a deep drift.
Can you see the one man in the sea?
The boat sank and he drowned.
Do you still see him?
To this day I wonder.
Don’t let me sink below my hope.
For a man who loses hope, drowns where no one can see him.
