Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rain, Rain, go away.
It pours, it blows, no where to go.
The rain is cold, but the warmth of the new light is strong.
Fist full of rage? How’d we get here?
The day was good, far beyond my own expectations!
So, fist…how did we get here?
Rage grew within where I could not see it.
It sprouted over something so insignificant.
Now where? Where did the day that was good beyond my own expectations go!
Into the warped mind of a man, spat out on the streets.
Washed down the sink’s dirty drain.
Did my tongue hold tightly? A rodeo within my own mouth.
Red was all I could see, the bull was furious at the cowboy.
This rage left me and in return tears began to shake my well.
Rage…where did you go? When did it start raining?
Can I be forgiven this time? Oh will she forgive me?
Has my savior left me? Did I go too far this time?
No…not yet…not never…he’s here…
