The Lamb in the Dream

I was drowning.

I was only sleeping.

I was awakened.

The moon glowed through the windows.

I rubbed my eyes clean.

Across the room stood a baby lamb.

The lamb skipped and hopped towards me.

The lamb jumped on to my bed.

The lamb stood on top of my chest.

I quickly took hold of the lamb.

I was hugging the lamb.

I was holding too tight.

The lamb wanted to go.

I didn’t want to let go.

I let go and the lamb leaped past my right ear.

A heavenly light shined from above me.

The devil tempted me.

She comforted me.

I wept.
